Northern Ireland is a place that's close to our hearts, with both of us having family connections there. Its capital and largest city, Belfast, has completely reinvented itself in recent decades. Despite in many ways being the epicentre of Irelands complex and difficult past, it's now better known as a modern metropolis with a buzzing bar restaurant scene and is somewhere we love to visit.

Beyond the city, the Causeway Coast is one of the most dramatic stretches of coastline anywhere in these islands, with the Giant's Causeway itself just one highlight among many.

Head further out and County Antrim delivers some of the best driving and hiking routes around, glens, cliffs, and coastal villages that rarely get the attention they deserve.
